Hello lovely people, last Sunday we discussed how the godly can be saved and how the wicked are preserved for judgement using the story of Lot who lived in Sodom and Gomorrah.
The people of Sodom and Gomorrah decided to live an ungodly life which we defined as the life which is detached or separated from God. The ungodly does not acknowledge the supremacy of God and some go as far as believing that God is only a social construct and does not exist. So, with this understanding, the ungodly live their life in whatever way they want, and they neither hate sin, nor genuinely treat other people right. They go on to only satisfy their fleshy wants. When their cup of transgression is filled, the wrath of God will fall and only the godly will be delivered. It may be fire or pestilence.
These things are made known to us so that we choose where we want to belong. And if you watch the video you will see details of how the Lord delivered Lot and the city that received the good man. On this, we see how the entry of a good man into a city can spare the city of the wrath of Judgement. Choose wisely for the salvation of your soul that lives forever.
