Hello beloved friends and families,
On Sunday we discussed a somewhat complicated verse (Judges 11:24). At first it looks like it will be tough to unpack but Glory to God, we came to a point where we agreed that we Children of the most high God will possess or must keep everything our God has given to us.
Have you ever wondered why many are being pressed on every side - war, disease, fear, worries, hunger, poverty, unforgiveness and hatred among people? Our common enemy which is Satan or sin does not want the peace of mind? When our heart is at peace, we can read about God and listen to messages about God and be better. He doesn't want us to possess that which God has given us. God has given everything for our benefit as humans, even himself for us to receive and hold tightly but the enemy keeps pressing to distract us from this treasure which surpasses everything. So you see hatred, war, hunger, unforgiveness, jealousy, and hatred in many places. They are there to keep humans away from the treasure God has given.
We must therefore affirm that we will keep all that God has given us by letting go of anger, hatred, unforgiveness and worries about people will do to us. If we let go of this things and focus on doing good, seeking peace, and knowing what God has provided for us, we will do well.
